Can't load any addins...?

May 24, 2007 at 4:11 PM
Just started using Reflector and every time I try to load any addins I get the dialog saying "The following addin(s) failed to load". I've tried CodeMetrics, TreeMap, ComViewer, CodeSearch and a bunch of others and none will load. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I'm running the latest release of Reflector.

Thanks!

Try click on the add-in name in the error dialog that pops up. This will show the actual error message in a text box. What are those errors? Also try copying the add-ins to the same directory as Reflector.exe and load them from there.

Thanks! I do have the add-ins in the same directory as Reflector.exe. This is the error I got when I tried to load CodeMetrics, not sure if this is something I could resolve or not:

This looks like you are running an outdated version of this add-in (assuming you are running Reflector 5.0 or newer). Where did you download the bits from?

You know, I'm not sure, it was back when Reflector 5 was initially released, so it's quite possible. I'll go ahead and re-download the addins I have and see if that does the trick.

Thanks!
